La Meulière, an organic artisan bakery founded in 1994 by Achim Schulzbongert, has always championed "eating well" for better health. An ethic shared by Théo Bouvier, who worked with this master baker for nine years and took over the business in 2022. The charming little store, with its rustic decor and stone millstone in front, is equipped with a mill for preparing organic wholemeal spelt flours and various flakes. Visitors come for the wide range of sourdough breads, viennoiseries, cakes and original snacks.

At the exit of Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, near the cellars of Bailly, there is a goat farm that you must visit. Created by the very sympathetic Claire Genet, it proposes cheeses (100 % organic obviously, and made under our eyes!), but also a delicatessen composed of products coming from local producers. But you can also come and have a picnic, go for a walk with the goats, follow workshops (for example, on how to make goat's milk soaps). The microbrewer Odile Bondier can boast of having a production of beers labeled Nature et Progrès which translates its will to reach the "zero waste", in particular through the intermediary of returnable bottles. Its beers are made with local raw materials. The brewer as well as the beers are known for their character and their conviction. To taste her production, you can also go to the market of Avallon.

In the shopping area just outside Ahuy, recognisable by the Géant Casino shopping centre, Le B is an organic bakery that has won many fans. And for good reason, everything here is made by hand with exclusively organic products. The owner knows the subject very well and does not hesitate to answer all your questions about the manufacture and composition of their products. You will know everything about the organic bread with natural leaven, about the small spelt as well as about the gluten-free recipes that we propose you.

Les Champs du Destin is a 100% organic bakery created by Jérôme Bruet. The unusual flours and cereals are produced on village land that has been preserved for many years. An organic baker since 1994, Jérôme is brimming with projects, notably participating in development programs with Agro Sup Dijon. His laboratory also prepares a range of 14 chocolates made with lecithin-free cocoa paste and enriched with multiple cereals. Among the must-haves are the Champs du Destin beers made from organic cereals.

Marie-Luce Rousseau's new shop is a real organic mini-market, perfectly stocked with new products. You will find everything you need to fill your basket. Céline Houde, an organic market gardener, works on her 1 hectare farm where many varieties of vegetables are grown, including local and forgotten vegetables such as bouejo, a dry bean from the Morvan that used to be widely cultivated. A method of cultivation based on permanent mulching, and a short sales circuit, favouring direct sales on the farm and at local markets. Composite baskets are also available and diversify according to the seasons. A great initiative to be encouraged, and a way to discover local cultures!

Les Formes de Pierrette is in fact the story of Fanny, who settled on this organic farm that once belonged to her grandmother. Rainwater recycling, waste water treatment, hedge planting, wood heating, no pesticides, no herbicides, no GMOs in the fields... Here, you can buy the farm's cheeses (tomme or pierrettes), but also its many dairy products. And to enhance the discovery, guided tours will take you to the herd, the meadow, the milking parlour... Ghislaine, Christian and Joël Boname offer you their homemade preserves, and more than 20 types of jams, farm chickens, rillettes, pâtés and ready-made meals.
