TOUR PANORAMIQUE DU GRAND WINTERSBERG
Read moreThe tower of Greater Wintersberg, which rises to over 580 metres above sea level, was erected in 1890. It is the highest point in the Northern Vosges. At the top of this 25-metre high tower, a remarkable panoramic view of the whole area awaits you. On a clear day, you can see the Alsace plain and the blue line of the Black Forest. By road, access is via the Liese Pass. Close to this pass you can see the Liese Rock, a sandstone monolith with a bas-relief probably dating back to Gallo-Roman times. Vandalized in 1944, it was restored in 1970. This rock was probably intended for the cult of fertility.

ARTISAN DISTILLERY BERTRAND SA
Read moreWhen we know that Uberach means «beyond the river», how can we not imagine that the Bertand distillery, which is located on the edge of a river that takes its spring, in the natural park of the Vosges in the North, does not envisage one day producing its own whisky? This is now done because it proposes a Uberach Alsace whisky under the high protection of Saint Wendelin, patron of the village but also prince of Scotland. The Uberach 42,2 ° is the result of an assemblage of a high-malt single malt to 2/3 third in banyuls barrels.

Dieffenthal Rock Trail
Read moreLovers of geological curiosities that Mother Nature has had fun sowing all over the world to smile at the far-fetched interpretations that men will give them, Dieffenthal's granite rocks will undoubtedly arouse your interest. In Alsace, it is the best example of the erosion of "granite in balls" due to the circulation of water in the cracks of rocks. From the Dieffenthal church, the trail is marked by blue rings and information panels on the sights encountered. The first stop is the Medieval Garden where medicinal herbs used in the past to heal the sick were planted. You will then arrive at the famous Celtic Rock shaped by the power of the waters: tradition claims that it is a birth seat! Other rocks with unusual shapes are to be discovered throughout the walk (about 45 minutes) which ends with a crossing of the vineyards.
