This late Romanesque parish church was built between 1182 and 1235 at the instigation of the abbot of Murbach
This Romanesque parish church was built between 1182 and 1235 at the instigation of the Abbot of Murbach, replacing a chapel on the same site. The harmonious architecture of the building distinguishes it from other Romanesque churches in Alsace whose construction often remained unfinished. Several additions and modifications have been made over the centuries, such as the five-sided apse and the upper parts of the choir. Inside the church, magnificent contemporary stained glass windows were created by François Chapuis in 1986.

Très jolie église. Elle n'a pas trop de chichi et est encore relativement préserver. Elle vaut le coup d’œil si vous êtes dans la zone et/ou avez prévu de venir sur guebwiller. Autrement faire le détour exprès pour ne vaut pas vraiment le coup car même si elle est jolie elle n'ai pas incroyable
