An abbey church in Neuwiller-lès-Saverne, with a Romanesque baptismal font and polychrome wooden statuettes.
As you enter the building, you'll come across the Romanesque baptismal font, the base of which features a sculpture of demons cast out by the sacraments of baptism, the 17th-century reliquary tomb of Saint Adelphe, the Holy Sepulchre, and four 15th-century polychrome wooden statuettes. The church also boasts a magnificent late-15th-century tapestry, woven in wool, gold and silk, telling the story of Saint Adelphe, bishop of Metz, over a length of more than 20 meters.

Charmant petit village autrefois fortifié, qui dispose comme dans beaucoup de villages alsaciens de deux églises, une autrefois collégiale sainte Adèle, 12è, romane, flanquée de deux tours, aujourd'hui protestante, et l'autre, catholique, l'abbatiale, romane par ses portails, gothique par sa nef. Magnifique saint sépulcre du 15è. Et une chaire à prêcher du17è. Très agréable visite.
