This museum is dedicated to the famous Alsatian caricaturist and watercolorist Jean-Jacques Waltz, also known as Hansi or Uncle Hansi

This museum is dedicated to the famous Alsatian caricaturist and watercolorist Jean-Jacques Waltz, known as Hansi or Uncle Hansi. On the first floor, the museum part of 700^m2presents various original works: childhood drawings, watercolors, Art Nouveau, advertising posters, Alsatian tableware and period products. At the end of the visit, return to the first floor to do some shopping in the museum store, which is full of regional products.

Opening time and information on THE HANSI VILLAGE & ITS MUSEUM

Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 12pm and from 1:30pm to 6pm; Saturday from 10am to 6pm. Holidays and school vacations from 10am to 6:30pm. Closed on December 25th and January 1st. Free until 13 years old. Adults: 5 €. Children (from 5 to 13 years old) : 3 €. Group (15 persons) : 3 €. Guided tour (15 people minimum). Store.

Mon épouse est fan de tout ce qui à trait à l'Alsace : elle est ravie d'avoir vu ce musée.
Pour ma part, bof.....

Ce musée est vraiment fait pour les touristes ou des vrais passionnés d'Hansi. Pour les Alsaciens c'est que des tableaux et illustrations déjà vu et revue. C'est sympa et joliment fait mais 5€ pour 10 minutes de visite c'est cher.
