Excellent restaurant and a few rooms lost in a palace in the upper city.

This is one of the restaurants of the Grand Hotel delle Terme. He was awarded in the famous Italian restaurant guide, Gambero Rosso. The kitchen is delicious. A great moment of tasting, even if it's out of price!

A pizzeria al trancio (sliced thick pizza) very welcoming, where one can eat an excellent farinata di this (galette of chickpeas). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

In the charming hamlet of Feriolo, a handful of kilometers north of Baveno, this hotel-restaurant has maintained its good reputation for well over 50 years. This traditional establishment offers a classic cuisine that emphasizes the freshness of its produce. The menu features excellent fish specialties, thanks to the hotel's geographical location. Try the menu de la mer, with its black spaghetti served with the fish of the day, or the tagliatelle version... The hotel also boasts 14 modern, comfortable rooms.

It's the only restaurant on the island. On its terrace, we saw the other two islands: Isola Bella and Isola Pescatori, as well as on the coast of Stresa.

The restaurants of the actor and comedian Pietro Chiambretti and his company Food & Company almost never disappoint. Here is one which has an exceptional frame, under the Galleria Subalpina, in the corner with Piazza Castello. The original cuisine offers Piedmontese dishes as well as Japanese sushi. A trattoria located near the Stazione Centrale. From the entrance, beautiful seafood and fresh fish trays welcome you. Two rooms, one large and one more intimate, furnished to the old, and shelves filled with bottles of wine. The kitchen is traditional and offers excellent homemade pasta and full of other savour specialities or more original like the penne alla Tognazzi (recipe from the famous actor). Among the wines, try the grignolino.

With its 60 seats, this restaurant has always been a guarantee of good Piedmont and Lombardy cuisine. The misto bollito (mixture of boiled meat), the cassoeula and the al al-barolo, all cooked in a traditional way and served with great attention.

Its exceptional location on the most beautiful square of the city, the Santa Lorenzo column, its family management and its winter garden make this pizzeria-restaurant particularly magical. All pizzas are prepared with organic products.

In the heart of the Romano Romano, this stylish, contemporary restaurant with a refined garden and soft lighting offers a large, traditional pizza card. However, some freedoms are taken: pizzas with exotic guaranteed flavours.

This is a stunning Siberian atmosphere in the heart of the Romano Romano. A stone decor and brick, and a fireplace, provide a few small wooden tables that are illuminated. The specialty is sibir: a hot board to cook meat, fish and vegetables that you choose yourself at will. But the map of Russian specialities is long: salmon and blinis, smoked herring, smétana sauce and of course vodka to all sauces.

A pizzeria-restaurant with a very Neapolitan ambiance. As its name indicates, it serves dishes based on mussels (cozze) but also some pizzas (15 varieties). The bright and colourful garden makes the atmosphere pleasant and Mediterranean. Among the dishes, try a'cozziata, a rich plateau of mussels and other specialties of the sea, and, as cheese, the famous mozzarella mozzarella, speciality Neapolitan speciality.

In the charming district of Sottoriva, on the banks of the Adige River, this rustic establishment offers local cuisine. Good local products, fresh fish and excellent pizzas prepared by the owners who are originally from Naples. Also on the menu are Venetian-style liver, risotto with amarone wine (seasoned to perfection) and creamy tiramisu. Pasta with lobster and seafood is also very popular. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the dishes and the warm welcome you will receive in this beautiful restaurant.

FIAT, or Fate Infretta A Tavola (which could be translated as: hurry up and eat!). The tone is of course ironic and mocking in this osteria, symbol of the Lingotto district. Local workers and civil servants come here to have a bite to eat at noon, so the service is very quick. Nevertheless, the dishes remain very good and the prices more than correct. On the walls, photos, newspaper articles and old advertisements tell the story of the famous Italian car brand and the city of Turin associated with it.

Imagine an osteria where the waiters exchange jokes as they run around the room, where a plate of salami and gorgonzola is placed on your table as a welcome, and where the evenings always end very late, perhaps after tasting the homemade digestifs... This is the Osteria dei Colori, a restaurant with several pretty, colorful, candlelit rooms. Everything here is really very good, but don't miss the house specialty: chicche allo stracchino.
