In a beautiful stone building from the ^19th century, here is a good address to taste the specialities of the lake, among which is the eel risotto. A flowered terrace allows you to eat outside on nice days. Some nice and comfortable rooms are available. The food is good, the dishes are plentiful and of good quality; as for the service, it is fast and pleasant. A nice address. Not to be confused with the restaurant located on the first floor of the building, which also offers good food and pizzas.

Exceptional position for this restaurant of Piedmontese specialities, overlooking Piazza Vittorio Veneto, just at the mouth of Via Po. It takes its name from the fact that it was from here that the couriers that linked Turin to Savona, a port that was very important for the city at the time, left. The interior is characteristic with its old brewery look, but it is the terrace that we prefer, to taste a trout with hazelnuts and a chocolate bunet (kind of sausage) while contemplating in the distance the church of the Gran Madre di Dio.

There's not much choice, but everything is home-cooked, and the portions are hearty and tasty. The staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is very informal. A must-try if you want to rediscover the sensations and flavors of yesteryear and the generosity of transalpine dining. If you want to dine there, you'll need to make a reservation.

In this restaurant with its light wood decor and colorful tablecloths, you can enjoy local specialties at a reasonable price. Among the tastiest is polenta, a delicious local semolina served concia, i.e. with melted cheese, or with stewed meat. But perhaps you've already heard of it? Open to the valley bordered by the peaks of the Cristallo, Anteo and Faloria, Cortina is a safe bet for those who are fond of tradition and do not give up a certain class. The restaurant, with its elegant wooded rooms, offers the best of local culinary specialities, concocted with love. Here you can try the filet with speck or the potato and lard ravioli and, in season, tempting game recipes and fresh mushroom dishes. Also hotel: the rooms are warm and welcoming.

This restaurant with a promising name is situated along the torrent, in the small village. The frame is very pleasant and typical kitchen. This will allow you to try the traditional polenta.

Good wine list. The welcome is extremely friendly, and the owner speaks French. It's hearty, it's beautiful, all the dishes are excellent, there's absolutely no false note for this restaurant, which remains at the top year after year. Highly recommended!

A very good restaurant-pizzeria, along the main street in the city centre, in a nice building. The chef offers a varied menu, from classic pizzas (which can be requested gluten-free) to Piedmontese specialities. The small summer terrace on the cobblestones makes it possible to increase the number of covers in good weather, because otherwise the room is rather exiguous. The service is fast, but really attentive and friendly. The little extra: the map which is translated into French to help in the choice of dishes to order.

The Bataclan's motto is "restaurant, pizza & music"... A nice program that proposes acoustic musical evenings that sometimes end in dancing, accompanied by tasty pizzas, light and cooked to perfection. The dishes are original: try the fried fish with pistachio, in the purest Sicilian tradition, which is a change from the mountain specialities. The desserts are just as appealing, like the crostata with wild berries. The restaurant, very popular in Aosta, has a beautiful and very large garden.

In the heart of Asolo, under the arcades of the central street, this historic address is the ideal place to find an authentic regional atmosphere. The walls are decorated with old farming tools and the menu includes tasty dishes such as baccalà alla vicentina (codfish with milk), rabbit with herbs and cheese cooked with mushrooms. A special mention for the polenta that reigns in a good part of the dishes, to be enjoyed with cheese, meat or even snails. Charcuterie, cheese and desserts will not leave you indifferent either.

This restaurant on the edge of Naviglio has its name from Henry-Paul Pellaprat (1869-1950), author in 1935 of modern culinary art, the good French and foreign table, which has been adopted since then in all cooking schools. Two rooms - the kitchen is visible from one of them - to taste a lot of Milanese recipes revisited, and delicious desserts such as hot chocolate cake in crust.
