Pluherlin, unlike Malansac, is characterised by its rugged relief, but, like its neighbour, it offers magnificent views of the Grées, the schistose ridges that brought the region to life in the days of quarrying and slate-making. Exploited from 1876 to 1914, the slate quarries employed up to 300 workers. The commune offers a charming heritage to those who want to explore its paths, on foot or by mountain bike: hiking enthusiasts will have the choice of two circuits, that of Les Palis for 12 km and the Ronde des Grées for 29 km (documentation in the tourist office). Discover, as you go along, the menhir of La Pierre-Longue (site of Brambien) and the chapel of Bon-Réconfort, dating from the 17th century.
