The river Tenes flows from north to south through this town with a fragmented urbanization, planted three kilometers from Granollers. Divided into 17 districts, Lliçà d'Amunt is surrounded by pleasant agricultural and forest landscapes drained by numerous rivers. A typical panorama of the Vallès Oriental, with the Montseny massif and the cliffs of Bertí as a natural backdrop. There are several rural and forest paths for walking and cycling, starting with the Palaudàries forest path. In addition to its old stone farmhouses, the village has no less than five churches! The most remarkable of them all, the Romanesque chapel of Santa Justa and Santa Rufina, is hidden in an oak forest to the north-east of the town.
