Entry Island is inhabited by a little more than a hundred English-speaking people of Irish and Scottish origin who live there in isolation all year long. It can be reached in one hour by taking the ferry from the port of Cap-aux-Meules and cars are allowed on board (fees extra). Big Hill is the highest peak of the Magdalen Islands (174 meters). To reach it, you will follow the Main Road, then the Post Office Road, and cross the fields following the trail. From the summit, you will discover a beautiful view of the archipelago. It is possible to eat and sleep in the small pensions of the island, but it is imperative to reserve.
