Havre-Aubert was for a long time the chief town of the archipelago. It is here that everything started and Amerindian vestiges still testify of its prehistory. Today, people come here to admire the Demoiselles, strange mounds with rounded shapes. You can discover them along a beautiful panoramic road, lined with traditional houses. The island also has three beautiful and large beaches: Havre-Aubert beach (Sandy Hook), West beach and Cape beach. The historical and animated site of La Grave is worth a visit and, from July to September, you should not miss the show Mes Îles, Mon Pays at the Havre-Aubert Cultural Center.
