The village, which occupies the whole island, is made up of several townships. A scenic road runs along the eastern tip of the island. Follow it for magnificent panoramic views (Cap Alright and Chemin des Montants). A marina, wharves, red rocks overlooking the sea, a small bay, with Cap aux Meules and Entry Island in the background, make up the landscape, right next to Île aux Cochons. The latter is frequented by countless birds, including gulls, herons and terns, and takes its name from the fact that pigs were once kept here. Also worth a visit is the Dune du Sud and its immense wild beach.
