Overlooking Muros de Nalón at an altitude of over 200 metres, this peaceful village of less than 400 souls stands out for its beautiful casas deindianos, colourful mansions built between the 19th and 20th centuries by the Spaniards who made their fortune in the Americas. It is pleasant to stroll around and appreciate the architecture of the many buildings from this period as well as their superb, well-kept gardens. Built in 1912, the Casa de la Torre is one of the most emblematic with its elegant tower and yellow and white cladding. The town also offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Cantabrian Sea throughout its visit.
