It is a small town of 250 inhabitants with no great economic activity other than tourism, which is mainly brought by pilgrims on the Way of Saint James. The church of Santa María, built in the 18th century, is worth a visit. It has three naves, a transept and a hemispherical chevet crowned by a star-shaped vault. Next door, the former pilgrims' hospice (18th century) now houses a museum with a collection of sculptures, sacred ornaments and silverware. On the practical side, there is a supermarket at the exit of the village, as well as several stores, restaurants, inns and hotels to spend the night.
