Travel Guide Teakettle

On the road from Belmopan to San Ignacio, we pass through Teakettle, a small village hidden in the meandering river in the heart of the rainforest. There are no stores to be found here, but as you cross the village towards the river, you come to the superb property that houses the Dream Valley Jungle Resort and its new little brother, Junto's. In the Teakettle area, it's easy to find organic vegetables and other healthy produce, as there are so many farms. Of particular note are several goat breeders who offer an excellent artisanal cheese that would have no reason to be ashamed of the European competition.
