We recommend you take the secondary road along the coast. Asphalted throughout, it's perfectly passable. Ancient vineyards, basalt cellars and low stone walls accompany you on your journey. In Cachorro, a typical hamlet that seems to have been abandoned, rock concretions resulting from various volcanic eruptions have created a network of overhangs just above the waves, which rush in through the hollowed-out caverns. A pathway and wooden railings allow you to walk above the waves. Further on, you reach Lajido, with its interpretation center and protected wine-growing landscape.
