The coastal town is known for its splendid diving sites, off the coast of a protected marine area, called Santuario delle Balene (whale sanctuary), which starts in Tuscany and ends in France (Cannes). Andora is located in front of this marine corridor, where you can observe large mammals, especially dolphins and sometimes cetaceans.Also worth seeing is the church of Santi Giacomo e Filippo, built on the rock of Capo Mele, or the oasis of Merola, a natural reserve very popular with birdwatchers.
