Garlenda is a typical inland village located a few kilometers from the sea. In 1964, the Galleani d'Alassio family created the Garlenda Golf Club, an 18-hole course that has become one of the most beautiful golf clubs in Liguria, with 6,085 meters to play in the Lerrone valley, surrounded by ancient olive groves and pine forests. Members can also enjoy a swimming pool, a hammam and a restaurant. In Villanova, next to Garlenda, there is the small international airport Clemente Panero that offers several services without forgetting the Hippodrome Dei Fiori that opens its doors to the public with several competitions throughout the year.
