Neve Ativ is a moshav founded in 1972. It is located just a few kilometers from the Nimrod fortress, one of the region's best-known historic sites, and ideally placed on the road to Mount Hermon (route no. 989) and its mountain resort. About 4 kilometers from Nete Ativ, the Nimrod moshav was only founded in 1999. It was originally established in 1982 as a military outpost close to the Syrian border. A number of accommodations on site make it a possible base for exploring the region, on the way to the Hermon heights.
