This village of 200 inhabitants used to have a pilgrims' hospital, founded in the 12th century and now disappeared. There are a few houses with coats of arms, and in particular the Real Casona de las Amas, built in the 17th century. The village church is dedicated to Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles. It was built in the 17th and 18th centuries and its main altarpiece still has a representation of Saint James.In the Calle Mayor , there is a bar-restaurant and a grocery store where you can buy groceries.
