Adéta is the essential crossroads town for accessing the Danyi plateau and Atakpamé, from Kpalimé. It is the capital of the sub-prefecture of Kpélé-Akata. The prefecture of Kpélé has a total population of nearly 76,000 inhabitants. Adéta has, among other things, a post office, a police station, a medical and social center, a few restaurants and a bus station. A lively market is held there every Monday. The town is located about 30 km north of Kpalimé, about 30 minutes from Gabi, a small village on the Danyi plateau. To reach Atakpamé from Adéta, the estimated time is about 2 hours.
