The village of Missahoe is located on the road to Kusuntu, in the direction of the village of Kuma Konda. Misahöhe, deformed nowadays into Missahoé, which means Misa's hill, is the name given to the place by the first German governor Jesko von Puttkamer, nephew of Bismarck, in April 1890 in honor of a Hungarian princess, Misa Estherházy. It was a strategic place for the Germans because of its altitude and the cool climate. Nowadays, you can see the old governor's house, the courthouse, the prison wall and also the German cemetery where some of the prisoners of war and domestic workers are buried
