At the crossroads between the south and north of Folegandros, the island narrows into a narrow neck from which you can see the Aegean Sea to both east and west. Here, a secondary road leaves the ridge line on the western side of the island and plunges into Agali Bay. Around this pleasant sandy beach, a small fishing port has developed into a tiny seaside resort since the arrival of tourists. It's an utterly charming spot, with a few small hotels and tavernas, a family-friendly sandy beach and coves within easy reach on foot or by caique. Most visitors stay in Chora for the day.
