Welcome to Folegandros! At first glance, seen from the open sea, it rises out of the sea like the spine of an elongated dragon. Arriving from the sea, you'll discover an unattractive little port, seemingly crushed by the sun, set against a landscape of rolling hills. Karavostasis is well worth a visit for its hotels and beaches, easily accessible from the port. You can also take the boat to Katergo, the most beautiful beach on Folegandros. So when you see most of the tourists jumping on the bus to Chora as soon as the ferry arrives, perhaps you'll have a good argument to linger there..
