This adorable fishing village is well away from the crowds: it takes a good hour to get to Panormos from the port of Tinos on roads that are magnificent, but can be a real deterrent. The reward is that there won't be many of you in Panormos. The little fishing port remains in its natural state, quiet and peaceful, and it's all the more pleasurable to immerse yourself in this suspended time. Take a seat on the terrace of one of the cafés lining the waterfront and watch the world go by, before settling down to a plate of fresh fish or seafood. Don't worry, all the fish restaurants in the harbor are good, so choose with your eyes closed, depending on your mood. On the other side of Panormos Bay, the road and then a path lead to a string of quiet beaches, far from the crowds, on either side of the small chapel of Aghios Nikolaos Thalassinos. Shady but wild, you're sure to spend some pleasant days here, but don't forget to bring water and a picnic, as you won't find anything to stock up on. They are completely deserted out of season.Panormos beach is a fine sandy beach opposite the village. The bay can sometimes be very windy, making it ideal for windsurfing. The beautiful rocky beach of Rochari is also close to this bay.
