Longny-au-Perche, now Longny-les-Villages, is an ancient barony of the Perche region, carved out of stone from the 11th century onwards. Now a small town of character, the village is ideal for a gourmet stopover or an authentic stay. Discover its half-timbered houses in rue Gaston-Gibory, and a residence built of roussard stone in rue de l'Église. All around, on the Longny-Malétable-Tourouvre axis, you'll find a wide range of buildings to admire or visit: Romanesque churches and chapels, mills, manor houses and Percheron longères. It's also a Mecca for gastronomy, as evidenced by its confraternities and competitions.
