At the edge of the Perch, 5 km north of the Medle-sur-Sarthe, this village of 365 inhabitants invites you to its party the last weekend of July: bread-washer, carnival party, petank, donkey. A popular festival that mobilizes many volunteers. This modest village has medieval origins and a religious past. In 1131, the King of England, Henri I Beauclerc, gave the baroness of Laleu to the Bishop of Séez, Jean de Neuville. For centuries and until the French Revolution, the bishops will reside there in a manor dedicated to rest.To take advantage of the great calm of the places and the greenery of this northeastern part of the Park, you can stop at the Gîte La Frébouchère (4 épis), at the same name, in a charming house of charm decorated with sunset, with swimming pool and even a walking freak.
