Famous for its tomato production, Limache actually has two settlements with town status: San Francisco de Limache and Limache Viejo. You might want to consider a short walk between Republica Street and Independencia Square. On the north side of town is the parish church of Santa Cruz, where the sanctuary of Nuestra Señora Purisima de las 40 Horas is located. Masses are held every day at the end of the day. At the end of the street is the large house of the Quinta El Mirador, where the School of Fine Arts and the Conservatory of Music are located, also known as the Casa de la Cultura.
