Travel Guide Valle Nevado

The resort is located 60 km east of Santiago and is connected with the resorts of La Parva and El Colorado, with which it forms the largest part of the three valleys of the Andes. It is situated between 2,860 and 3,670 m above sea level and has a high level of equipment: 107 km of slopes, 41 lifts, several hotels, numerous restaurants and cafés, a gym, a disco, a clinic... The resort opens in June and closes at the end of the first week of October. But it is possible to come to the area out of season, i.e. in summer, to hike in the mountains and practice other activities.
