In the heart of the Perche region, the small town of Mauves-sur-Huisne, with a population of about 500, has two monuments listed as Historical Monuments: its Saint-Pierre church, built in the 13th century and listed since 1975, and its Catinat bridge dating from the 17th century, since 1939. The latter has been renovated at the end of the year 2020. During your walk, you can also discover in Mauves-sur-Huisne the pigeon house of Grand Cosnier, the Castle of Landres, as well as an old wash house, rue de la Huchette. The proximity of the forest makes Mauves-sur-Huisne a very popular vacation spot for the inhabitants.
