Kaali is a must-see on the Estonian islands, and visitors come here to discover the impressive and fascinating Kaali meteorite impact crater. Alongside this large crater are eight smaller ones. According to geologists, they were formed over four thousand years ago, but others estimate their age at seven thousand six hundred years. To find out more, don't miss the Kaali visitor center in the middle of the village, which also serves as a tourist office and museum on the history and origins of these craters. On site, you'll also discover the many legends that surround these places and give you an insight into the local culture.
