On the island's south coast, Abruka is located on a small independent island, 4 km south of Roomassaare. The island is best known for its deciduous forest, with oak, ash, lime, maple, birch and ash trees rising to heights of 30 m. The island's two lighthouses - built around 1920 - dominate the landscape: the rear lighthouse operates in conjunction with the Abruka lighthouse located 670 m ahead on the beach. Don't miss the magic rock at the northern end of the island. Legend has it that anyone who finds it will have their wishes granted!
