The village of Peguche is an essential stop on all tours offered to tourists, which explains why prices have risen sharply in recent years. The place is mainly visited for its superb waterfall (every day from 8am to 6pm, donation required). This one is 18 m high and 3 m wide, and is surrounded by a forest of eucalyptus in which it is possible to make beautiful walks. It is a sacred site in the eyes of the population, be sure to respect it as it should be It is in these same waterfalls that the ritual bath takes place every year at midnight, marking the beginning of the festivities of the Inti Raymi.
