The only interest of the village of Pompeya, near Limoncocha, is its archaeological museum, the CICAME. This museum gathers a collection of potteries of the Omagua civilization, one of the main pre-Columbian civilizations of the region. Also numerous statuettes with flattened skulls, testimony of an ancestral custom, funerary urns, vases with Amazonian motifs. The museum was created 30 years ago thanks to the support of Switzerland. Visits are usually made with naturalist guides who also have a good knowledge of ancient civilizations. There is also a shop where you can buy books and some handicrafts from the region
