Cizur Menor (Zizur Txikia in Basque) is a municipality of about 2,000 inhabitants located on the outskirts of Pamplona. It has two Romanesque churches, one of which is a refuge for pilgrims run by the Order of Malta: the church of San Miguel Arcángel. This one is located outside the town. The other church, in the heart of the village, is dedicated to San Emeterio and San Celedonio. It is Romanesque in style (12th century), but it has been reformed many times over the centuries, so that it has combined elements from different periods in its structure, such as its 17th century tower. The portal is Romanesque, with its half-point arch.
