A small town of about 430 inhabitants whose streets have names that evoke the Camino de Santiago. Examples among others: Fe (faith), Esperanza (hope), Caridad (charity), etc. To list them all is a fun occupation! The town has preserved some beautiful houses from the 17th and 18th centuries, such as the Casa El Palaciano, near the Plaza Mayor, which was used as the setting for the film Tasio (1984) by the Navarrese filmmaker Montxo Armendáriz. The neoclassical church of San Pedro is also worth a visit. The municipality is located in the non-Basque part of the province and only Castilian is the official language.
