Dominated by the 1,593 m high Rumija mountain, Bar is the main port on the coast and the terminus of the ferries to Bari (Italy). Made up of rows of buildings and wide avenues, the current city was built after the Second World War. Surrounded by thousands of olive and citrus trees, the city is also an important center for the production of olive oil and fruit juice. Surrounded by pleasant pebble beaches and devoid of old buildings, Bar can charm you with its 2 km long seaside promenade and the palace of King Nikola. Its old town is not to be missed.
