14 km from Petrovac and 7 km from Bar, this former fishing village is now a charming seaside resort lined with hotels built during the communist period. Very popular and animated in summer by the Serbian and Montenegrin youth, but also Russian, Italian and Albanian, it is the cheapest village on the coast. Thus, it is very popular with students. Sutomore stretches in length with a wide beach of sand and gravel, rather pleasant, but not always very clean. The village has a church dedicated to Saint Tekla, built in the 14th century at the eastern end of the beachfront, where Catholic and Orthodox services are held.
