Duitama is an industrial city, about fifteen kilometres from Paipa. Its tourist interest lies entirely in the Museo de Arte religioso, located inside the hacienda San Rafael, six kilometres from the city. This beautiful colonial house contains real treasures, including statues of Saint Barbara, Saint Anthony or the Virgin of the Snow, a Christ with a lacerated back lacerated with whips, rich church furniture, objects of worship, etc. The museum is open every day except Monday from 8am to 5pm.Further on, do not hesitate to stop at the village of Nobsa. Its textile craft of virgin sheep's wool is famous throughout the country, especially ruana, a kind of pure wool poncho, generally measuring 1.50 m x 1.40 m and weighing around 2.5 kg. Moreover, Nobsa celebrates every year, at the end of May-early June, the World Ruana Day, and its craftsmen try to enter the Guinness record by weaving the largest ruana in the world.
