Los Naranjos is the beach bordering Tayrona Park. The river Piedra marks the limit. A rather wild place, appreciated by surfers (competitions are sometimes organized there) and by those who are looking for tranquility. There are a few chic but rustic hotels that fit well in this natural setting. Be careful, as on all this part of the coast, the waves and currents make swimming particularly dangerous. To get there by public transportation, the same buses that stop at Tayrona Park, Buritica or Palomino. Departure from the Santa Marta municipal market (plaza de mercado, Calle 11 con Carrera 13).
