The emblematic park of Santander. Located 41 km from San Gil on the road to Bucaramanga, it is set in the impressive Chicamocha Canyon, one of the largest and deepest canyons in the world (2,000 meters deep). The great attraction of the park is its 6.3 km long cable car that flies over the canyon. Inaugurated in 2009, this technological feat, of French construction (Poma group), has 39 cabins (for 8 people), which advance at 6 meters per second.
