Le Sauze is one of the oldest resorts in the Southern Alps. Created in 1934 under the impulse of two brothers, completed in the 1970's by Super-Sauze, it is today one of the most popular summer-winter resorts in the region. We appreciate its proximity to Barcelonnette and its ski area with its many valleys which give both softness and technicality to the 65 km of sunny slopes spread out from 1 400 to 2 450 meters of altitude. Less frequented than the big resorts, it has many assets and charm. One thinks in particular of its numerous snowshoe walks. In the summer, hiking and biking are in the spotlight.
