What magic! For sure, Boquerón will not please everyone. But both folkloric and authentic, this village has the great merit of easily mixing tourists with Puerto Ricans. On weekends, the town comes alive like nowhere else on the island. The main street, calle José de Diego, is closed to traffic, at least in part, to let the onlookers jump from one bar to another. All generations mix. It is advisable to nibble at theempanadas or wild oysters stands, always located along the main street. Family atmosphere and good child, to savor without fuss.
