The forest of Toro Negro is located in the southeast of Jayuya. It is home to the island's highest peak, Mount Punta, at 1,338 m. The lowest point of the park is at 400 m of altitude. Nearly 160 species of trees and about 30 species of birds inhabit the reserve. It includes about 18 km of hiking trails, which lead to natural pools, fed by nine rivers that cross it. Adrenaline seekers should not miss the Toro Verde Adventure Park and the second longest zip line in the world (the first is now in the United Arab Emirates).
