This town is located 20 km south of Olomouc, between North and South Moravia and is a pleasant stopover. It has some typical sights (square, beautiful houses...). The town had its heyday in the 15th century, when the beautiful city center was expanded. The almost square T.-G. Masaryka Square is surrounded by beautiful middle-class houses. The old town hall (Stará Radnice) on Masaryka is a Renaissance building. The oldest building in the city is the Cathedral of the Ascension of the Holy Cross on Filipcovo Square. Trains and buses are very frequent (30 min from Olomouc, 2 h from Brno).
