Travel Guide Apartaderos

Descending from the chapel from San Rafael to Apartaderos, we can see walls made by the Indians along the Camino Real, the route of the Spanish. Don't forget to stop at the church of La in San Isidro just before you arrive in Apartaderos. On this now asphalted road, Simón Bolívar was leader of the Republicans in 1813 during the admirable Campaign. A few days later (15 June), it was in the state of Trujillo that the Libertador had to announce the decisive decree of war to death (Guerra a Muerte) to all enemies of Independence.
