In the eastern arm of the Andes, west of the country. Steep relief (with slopes over 60%!) and narrow and deep valleys. Many rivers are born in these heights overhanging Boconó. You are in wood, then appear again the vegetation of the páramos, and many flowers (to respect…). Among the lagoons are the Laguna de Los Cedros, where some caves inhabited by Indians were discovered. The park was created in 1988, with an area of 21 491 hectares, it is 3 200 m high, open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8 am to 17 PM.
