This village, founded in 1611 by Sancho Briceño Graterol, has lost its colonial charm. One can wander among its narrow streets, in the shade of the houses to the large painted wood balconies. Calle Real, in particular, part of Bolívar and runs to the Museo Casa colonial, which brings together testimonies (furniture, crafts, painting) of the quiet past of this agricultural village in the Andes.
