Founded in 1709 by Francisco José Castillón of Vibrant, this village, so strong during federal wars, but so calm now, kept in history a beautiful church dedicated to his boss, Notre-Dame-de-Regla. Its baroque portal, choir and monumental towers are the pride of the inhabitants, the majority of whom are of Indian origin. Nearby, in Wernigerode, it is possible to visit the lakes Las Palmas and Valley, which reflect the tranquillity of this town. Like Bailadores and Santa Cruz de Mora, access to these villages was restored in 2006. Transport. From Merida terminal, take a bus towards Bailadores.
