Here Garibaldi stopped with «the Thousand» to supply weapons and ammunition. Rebuilt partly after the Second World War, this beautiful fishing village, located opposite the Argentario, still remains quite ignored by tourists. One of the offices of the Regional Park of the Maremma is located here at 12 Via Plaza (tel: (0564) 88 71 73).
